You can choose to have a basic account or an upgraded account. If you choose a basic account, a user will be prompted to create and upgrade an account in order to contact you. With an upgraded account, your contact information is freely available.

Account Pricing

  • Standard Account - FREE
  • 30 days - $29.95
  • Monthly - $19.95 ($39.90 is due up front for the first 2 months. On the third month and thereafter, you will be billed $19.95 until you cancel this subscription within your account)
  • Yearly - $249.95 Stand out from the pack with Premium Member Status! 1 free featured listing per month, $60 value!

You may also choose to have a Basic (free) Listing or a Featured Listing.

  • Featured Listings: Dark blue in color, come BEFORE all Basic Listings, cost $5.00 per listing, good for 45 days. On the day you promote/feature your listing, you may use our PUSH tool to push your listing back to the top of the search results, every 10 minutes for FREE, up until 11:59pm EST.
  • Basic Listings: Light blue in color, come AFTER all Featured Listings, FREE of charge, good for 180 days.


ID Verification

ID Verify is a process that includes verification of an individual's driver's license, passport, or national id and a selfie holding the verification documents. Additionally, the billing address used for the assessment fee is verified against the submitted documents. When the information is successfully verified, the advertiser receives an ID Verify icon in his or her ad(s) and member profile.

How do I become ID Verified?

There are 3 steps to become ID Verified:

  • Step 1: Upload a clear picture of the front and back of your driver's license, national ID card or passport.
  • Step 2: Upload a clear selfie hold your driver's license, national ID card or passport and a custom note with today's date and the words "Puppy Muse".
  • Step 3: Submit a $5 application fee, the billing information provided will be matched with the verification documents already submitted.

Why do I have to remove ID Verify to update my personal information?

When you became ID Verified, we verified your identity from that information. If you choose to change said information, we must verify that information before we can attach ID Verified status to your account.

Subscription/Upgrade

Why do I need a Subscription?

A subscription allows your contact information to be seen by all users. If you do not have a subscription, a user will be prompted to create and upgrade an account in order to contact you.

How do I upgrade my account?

Within your account, under “Billing”, select “Upgrade Account”. Choose the subscription you desire, enter your billing information and submit payment. We have 3 plans to choose from:

  • 30 days - $29.95
  • Monthly - $19.95 ($39.90 is due up front for the first 2 months. On the third month and thereafter, you will be billed $19.95 until you cancel this subscription within your account)
  • Yearly - $249.95 You will receive a free Featured Breeders Listing with this subscription. $80 value!

How do I update my billing information?

To update your address, phone and/or name, within your account, under “Profile”, select “Edit Profile”. If you are already ID Verified, you will have to remove ID Verify, make your changes and then become ID Verified again. You will be charged another $5.00.

To change your credit card information, within your account, under “Account” select “Manage Credit Cards”. You can edit your existing card and/or add a new credit card here. If you wish to change the credit used for your monthly subscription, please contact customer service.

Credit Cards/Adding Funds

Can I store my credit cards on Puppy Muse?

Yes. You can store as many as you would like and you may also add funds from these cards as well to your account. Please note for security reasons we do not actually store your credit card information. Your associated credit card number account is then transitioned into a subscription id for which is then sent to our payment processor. Therefore, we do not need to store your credit card number for ultimate security.

How do I manage my credit cards that are stored here?

Within your account, under “Account”, select “Manage Credit Cards”. You can add/remove credit cards here.

How can I add funds to my account?

Within your account, under “Account”, select “Add Funds”. Choose the credit card from which you would like to add funds, and input your amount you wish to add. Click “Add Funds”.

Why would I want to add funds to my account?

You can easily make payments on Puppy Muse without having to type all of your credit card information over again.

Cancel Listing/Subscription

How do I cancel my subscription?

Cancelling subscriptions only applies to advertisers with a monthly billing cycle. Within your account, near the top, you will see “Account Type – Monthly Plan”. Under this you will see “Cancel,” Click this to cancel your subscription.

I canceled my listing, why am I still being billed?

Subscriptions and listings are different; if you are being billed $19.95 you must cancel your subscription. Subscriptions allow your contact information to be seen by all users. If you do not have a subscription and a user comes to view your listings, they will be prompted to create and upgrade an account in order to see your contact information. Subscriptions do not cover listings. When you no longer have listings for sale and no longer need the subscription, you must sign into your account and click on “Cancel my Subscription”. Refunds will not be granted.

How do I Add/Edit Listings?

How do I post a listing?

Within your account, under "Listings", select “New Listing”. Choose the type of ad you wish to create (Puppies for Sale listing, Rescue listing or Breeders Listing). Follow the onscreen instructions to post your listing.

How do I edit my ad?

To edit your Puppies for Sale ad and Rescue Ad: Within your account, under "Listings”. For the ad you wish to edit, click the Edit Listing button. From this page you will be able to choose to edit your description or edit your photos/videos. Select the option you desire. Make your changes. Save.

To edit your Breeders Listing: Within your account, under “Listings”, then select “Breeder Profile”. For the ad you wish to edit, click the Edit Listing button. From this page you will be able to choose to edit your description or edit your photos/videos. Select the option you desire. Make your changes. Save.

How do I promote my listing?

Within your account, click Listings. For the listing you wish to promote, click the Promote button. Make your payment. Click “Submit”.

How many listings can I have within my account?

Your account is entitled to a maximum of 25 listings online at any point in time. If you would like to place more than 25 listings, there is a fee of $0.03 per listing per day over the 25 threshold.

Example: XYZ Kennel had 35 listings online per day over the course of a month. That is 10 listings over the threshold, therefore XYZ Kennel would be billed $9.00 for the month. (10 * $0.03 * 30 days = $9.00)

What happens to my sold listings?

If I sell my puppy, how long can I leave it on the site as sold?

Once you mark your listing as “Sold”, the listing is removed from the search results and placed into your “Sold Ads” section, which can be found within your account.

What are the benefits of marking my listing sold?

When you mark your listing as "Sold", your buyer's information will be saved for future reference. Additionally, the listing is stored in our system so you can access at any time.
